Buffy asked, her pout in full force. "It's important, Giles.
If I can just figure out why it's so difficult for me, I can
"No, Buffy." Giles said as he looked away from her pout. "It's out of the question."
"Why?" Buffy asked pitifully. "Why is it out of the question? I'm nineteen years old and you can do it. I've seen you. Why won't you teach me to drive?"
"I've seen the results of you driving." Giles said. "I just replaced the Citroen."
"Okay, first of all, that was not my fault." Buffy said. "That stupid jerk on the candy ran a red light and I still had to pay for the damage. And yeah, I admit, me and driving has not been a good combination so far, but you can fix that."
"I've never taught anyone how to drive before." Giles said. "The rules are quite different in England."
"I know the rules, Giles." Buffy told him. "I actually passed the written part. Actually, I only missed one question. It's the actual driving that gets me."
"Buffy, have you considered that, possibly, you just aren't meant to drive." Giles said cautiously.
"You think I'm that bad?" Buffy asked a bit hurt, her pout appearing once again.
"Don't you think you have enough responsibility?" Giles asked, changing tactics.
"They gave Cordelia a driver's license." Buffy went on. "If I could just figure why my coordination is so bad as soon as I sit behind the wheel." Giles didn't look as if he were giving in. "What if it were an emergency?" Giles just looked at her.
"Buffy," Giles said in sudden realization. "Did you plan all this?"
Buffy tried to look innocent, but that was difficult when you were in bed naked with someone. So she looked down at him from where she straddled him.
"Is it working?" She asked mischievously.
"No." Giles told her with a laugh. He pulled her down for a kiss. "But you're more than welcome to keep trying."
Buffy gave him a wicked look. Giles felt a moment's panic, but the truth was that he knew that he'd give in eventually. He may as well enjoy the 'discussion.' By the look in her eyes, he had a feeling he'd enjoy it very well.
The next morning; Willow and Xander watched as Giles got into the passenger seat and Buffy slid in behind the wheel. "So, how did Buff get the G-Man to cave and teach her?" Xander asked. "All I could get from Giles was that she was driving him crazy."
Willow grinned. "All I'm saying is that Buffy can be very creative when she wants something."
Xander looked at her. "I *so* don't want to know, do I?" His eyes widened in shock. "Oh God, tell me that isn't why he's having trouble walking."
Willow laughed. "He wasn't complaining."
